  • 1/4: Met with gynecologist for lump in breast
  • 1/12: ultrasound of left breast
  • 1/13: wisdom tooth pulled
  • 1/25: Met Dr. Lind; core needle biopsy of lump
  • 1/27: Diagnosed with breast cancer
  • 2/6: Breast MRI 
  • 2/10: surgery to place port-a-cath in my chest
  • 2/15: EKG
  • 2/16: chemo 1 of 6; taxotere and cytoxin; herceptin
  • 2/23: Dr. Rubin checks my levels from chemo
  • 3/6: chemo 2 of 6; taxotere and cytoxin; herceptin
  • 3/15: 1st hospitalization for suspected DVT; Baker's Cyst diagnosed
  • 3/28: chemo 3 of 6; taxotere and cytoxin herceptin; 1st Lupron shot
  • 4/18: chemo 4 of  6;  taxotere and cytoxin and herceptin 
  • 4/30: left knee MRI
  • 5/10: chemo 5 of 6; taxotere and cytoxin and herceptin; dr can't feel lump
  • 5/29: ER visit due to lower left leg edema
  • 5/31: 2nd hospitalization for suspected DVT
  • 6/1: Baker's Cyst aspirated bedside
  • 6/4: chemo 6 of 6; taxotere and cytoxin and herceptin
  • 6/13: Breast MRI shows NO CANCER
  • 6/15: Ultrasound-guided aspiration of Baker's Cyst
  • 6/26: Bone scan
  • 6/29: Lumpectomy and sentinel node biopsy
  • 7/9: Gabapentin begins
  • 7/19: Left knee MRI (failed due to pain) and CT scan of chest, abdomen, and pelvis
  • 7/23: 2nd Ultrasound-guided aspiration of Baker's Cyst
  • 8/2: Herceptin and Lupron
  • 8/3: Baker's Cyst removal & hospitalization 
  • 8/9: Orthopedic doctor explains malignant cells found in tissue from Baker's Cyst
  • 8/10: Oncology reports lung nodules
  • 8/13: diagnosed with sarcoma in left leg; pathology reports continuing, sarcoma suspected in synovial fluid
  • 8/14: Sarcoma Chemo 1 of 10
  • 8/16: Orthopedic dr removes stitches from Baker's Cyst
  • 8/17: ultrasound follow up to Baker's Cyst surgery; blood clot (DVT) found; admitted to Methodist's ER and transferred to Hahnemann University Hospital to be near my doctors
  • 8/18: repeated ultrasound confirms DVT; started on Heparin
  • 8/20: MRI on brain and left knee
  • 8/21: CT scan of chest, abdomen, and pelvis
  • 8/22: Lung biopsy (left side); transferred to Cooper University Hospital
  • 9/1: discharged from Cooper Hospital
  • 9/2 - 9/10 admitted to Hanhemann University Hospital
  • 9/5 - 9/8: 4 days of intense chemo
  • 9/27: chemo (round 5, switch from 4 in a row to once a week)
  • 10/4: my blood counts were too low for chemo; blood transfusion.
  • 10/4 - 10/12: visit the family in New Jersey
  • 10/13 - 10/30: hospitalized at Hanhemann University Hospital
  • 10/17: Radiation begins
  • 10/25: left leg starts to leak
  • 10/27: chemo
  • 11/5: chemo
