what i need

I am not usually good at directly asking for things, but here's a list of concrete needs that folks near and far can help me with. I might need more help if I am fatigued by chemo, sore from surgery, or what-not. Also, cancer is expensive. I've spent over $600 just in co-pays in the last three weeks.  I didn't budget for cancer (weird, I know), so things are tighter than usual for me.  Thanks, in advance.

  • groceries
    • give rides to the store
    • pick up stuff for me, especially heavy things like cat food or kitty litter
    • make me dinner
    • take me out for food
    • send a gift card:   I live near  Acme, Target, ShopRite, Whole Foods, and Trader Joes. (in that order)
  • cleaning and organizing my place
  • laundry (since I don't have a washer/dryer onsite and don't have a car)
  • distraction
    • make me mix tapes (I can never have too many, promise.)
    • recommend/ lend/ send books/ movies/ tv shows, etc. (I don't have a television that plays shows, but I can watch dvds on it. I have a Kindle. I watch shows on Hulu.)
    • visit
    • talk about other stuff
    • play board games
